Subject: NY Manhattan High Line
Hi All
Here's the info on the high-line, we found an entrance and have explored.
The high-line
Access:
The best entrance we found and used is on 10th Avenue between 13th and 14th
Street. The building is covered in Graffiti, A fire escape ladder hangs down,
reachable from the pavement.
Climb the fire escape and cross a flat roof. At the end of the roof climb up
and over the ledge (watch out for razor wire), There are two points were this
is possible.
climb down onto a fence structure (it has a lot of hand and foot holds). Once
down there.s a hole through the fence.
Your on the High Line.
Another point we used was through a building site.

Notes:
Travel in small groups
Go Sundays Early morning or evening
Go when its light or at night
Its Private property
_____________________________________________________________________
Its very special up there: crickets, bees, butterfly, wild plants, graffiti,
sculptor and birds. Everything that can not exist on the lower city level.
Seeds must of arrived by air and from when it was an active line, the place
reminds me of how quickly abandoned places go feral.
Today I travelled as far as 29th and the line carried on and on
Find maps and info about its future here (its got some great photos):
